Loma Alta Park, Altadena Mural
In partnership with the LA County Parks Foundation, we’re creating a collaborative community mural as part of the Loma Alta Park rebuild in Altadena, CA. Organized by muralist Victor Ving of the Greetings Tour, the project features a team of local artists that were impacted by the Eaton Fire. The artist roster is listed below if you are stopping by during the painting process. Check back for updates as we document the mural progress.

L (LOMA) - Victor Ving
Victor Ving is a local mural artist and co-founder of the Greetings Tour, a nationwide postcard mural project he created with his wife, photographer Lisa Beggs. Together, they have collaborated with over 70 communities across more than 30 states to create their collectible mural series. Victor’s work seamlessly blends bold typography with local landmarks and culture, transforming public spaces into vibrant, community-driven art. In Altadena, his contributions include the "Greetings from ALTADENA" mural at Grocery Outlet, the Mt. Lowe Railway mural at Altadena Hardware, and the ALTADENA/PASADENA travel decal murals at Highlight Coffee.
The diversity of our Altadena community is one of my greatest inspirations. It was important to me that this community mural project also represented my own network of muralists and artists in the area. Miraculously, all of my murals survived the fires, reinforcing the power of art as a symbol of resiliency and hope—connecting the past to the present. My goal is for collaborative piece to serve as a therapeutic outlet, helping both artists and viewers through the healing process.

Laina Miller’s ethos is rooted in the healing benefits of surrounding oneself with creativity. Laina’s art collections and creative products are birthed from her daily art practice and developed through life impressions and experiences. L (ALTA) - Keni Arts
For over 50 years, Keni Arts has been painting en plein air, capturing street scenes across the U.S., Africa, Brazil, Canada, England, Germany, and Mexico. Yet, some of his favorite subjects remain the streets of Altadena and Pasadena. Many locals know Keni is he’s often seen in the streets with a paint brush in hand.
When the Eaton Fire tore through the foothills, Keni’s home was reduced to ashes, along with thousands of others in his Altadena community. Before the fire, he had painted hundreds of homes and businesses in Altadena and Pasadena.
